SHAMPOO:
If you are planning to, or have purchased the Hair Butter or Hair Smoothie products from Queens of Curls, I HIGHLY recommend that you shampoo your hair every 7-14 days. Although the Hair Butter and Hair Smoothie are all natural, perfume/alcohol-free products, you still need to wash your hair in order to cleanse your scalp, which allows your hair to grow...... AND who wants stinky hair??? Ummm...No ma'am!!!I've never tried shampooing in sections, but I do condition this way using Mecca Blend. Using Mecca Blend will allow you to cut out the "two-step" conditioning process, and will make detangling extremely easy with very little sheding. You can shampoo using the technique that works best for you, then section your hair in four parts to apply Mecca Blend for the best deep conditioning results. Hair Butter is perfect for your leave-in conditioner/cream. I also cleanse my scalp with oil before shampooing, but I use Neem Oil. It stinks REALLLLLY bad, but it's very moisturizing, it controls dandruff, and promotes growth. I'm currently working on a "Pre-Shampoo" oil, but like any other product, it MUST be tested and approved by other Queens.

So I'm thinking that I may start doing "How to" videos for Queens of Curls products. I think showing you how to apply the products will make things much easier. I know I find myself watching more videos than reading "How to" articles...ijs. Check out the Queen's youtube chanel, she has plenty of videos that may be helpful to you!!
